ACEO format, 2.5"x3.5" Colored pencil on black paper 2 hours of work drawing, and I don't know how many spent in contemplation... When I decided I wanted to draw a piece for a wild cat's eye themed contest, I also decided that I didn't just want to draw a picture of a big cat's eye. I wanted the drawing to say something more. After a bit of thinking, and a lot of browsing, I decided I wanted to draw a cheetah eye with the savanna reflected in it, looking for home.

ACEO format, 2.5"x3.5" Colored pencil on paper 5 hours of work Whew! I've never been terribly fond of doing stippling, which seems strange considering how much pleasure I get out of drawing little ticks of fur.... Oh well. I'm glad it's done, and I think it was worth it, but don't expect much (if any) dot art in the future. I got lazy towards the end and did some little squiggles in the beige color. It would have looked better if I had stuck purely to dots.

ACEO format, 2.5"x3.5" colored pencil on paper 4 hours of work This one was in large part a color experiment on the wing. It didn't turn out like I hoped, but it did turn out all right. The face also didn't turn out as intended, so I guess it's a random green anthro critter....
